As a volunteer organization we are always in need of volunteers who will help us to carry out our mission in preserving the region's history. No experience is necessary - we will be glad to show you what to do.

Here is our current wish list if you would like to make a donation. (The dollar amount is the cost if we buy the item.)

• Volunteer with grant writing experience to help find and write grants
• Volunteers to help with fundraising events
• Fundraisers to help pay for re-pointing the Fort Decker

• Docents to give tours and/or help with 18th century cooking
• Volunteer to staff the gift shop
• Volunteers to put on programs or demonstrators for special events
• Food for our eighteenth century cooking demonstrations - $50
• Paper products for serving refreshments - $25
• Scrape and paint windows and wood trim on the building - $1,000

• A volunteer to scrape and paint the porches
• Vinyl flooring for the 1st floor bathroom - $200

• Case of paper for printing projects - $50
• Office Supplies - $35
• Toner for printer - $90 (Black)

• Archival mending tape for archival projects - $25 per roll
• Double stick tape for archival projects - $25 per roll
• Black Toner for copy machine at library - $125
• Archival supplies (acid-free boxes and files) - $200
• Case of copier paper - $50
