Minisink Valley Historical Society
General Membership

We hope you will consider joining our Society. You will be an important part of an organization that is moving ahead in the preservation of regional and local history. The Minisink Valley Historical Society, chartered in 1889, is the second oldest historical organization in Orange County. The Society has in its collection many items that relate to the earliest settlement of the region. There is an extensive collection of family and county histories and also a major collection of photographs.

As a benefit of your membership, you will have access to a premier collection of materials for your personal research. You will also receive all other benefits listed next to the membership category you choose below.

We invite you to help us in carrying out the various projects that we are involved with. Call us at our listed phone number (845-856-2375) or stop by on Thursdays at the Port Jervis Free Library. Thank you for your interest in our Society.

Joining our Society is easy. To join by regular mail, just print the application form, fill it out and send it to address listed with a check or money order. Within a couple of weeks you will have in hand a membership card and the most current newsletter informing you about our plans and programs and the gifts and information listed for your chosen category.
