For his having made the motion to hire the Webmaster in 1981 as he looked far into the Society's future and saw great things to come. His spirit and vision are still here in the form of this web page.

Mr. Tarbell deserves the bold footnote as the person who pushed for a web page for the society. To him we owe a great debt of gratitude for his wisdom and for all of the unpaid overtime that I had to perform to get this project done. May he rest in peace in his shop, overlooking the sewing machines.

For his having seconded the motion to hire me and for his constant support during the last 28 years as we have moved ahead in blazing the trail to preserve our region's history.
