Hi,
I'm looking for info regarding my great-grandfather Uriah McCarty who was born in Milford in 1860. His father was Uriah Alexander McCarty, whose mother descended from the Van Auken family and his (the younger Uriah) mother was Olive Rockwell Crawford who descended from the Hazen family. Uriah married a servant girl from Ireland and moved his family, including my paternal grandmother, down to Brooklyn shortly after 1900.
This part of my family tree all lived in the Minisink area from the 1600's until Uriah moved to Brooklyn.
