Trying to find info on Patrick Maghar (from Tipperary Ireland) who came to Canada in 1825.  He came into Quebec, then took a brief trip to Montreal and then came down to Newburgh NY.  He remained in Newburgh for a short while, and then moved to Monticello NY (Thompson).  He married Julia (I do not know her maiden name) who was also apparently from Ireland.  I do not know what year they were married.

They had one daughter Margret in 1849.  She  later married George Parker at St. John's church Monticello in 1872, and settled in Middletown NY.

Patrick Magher was a cooper while living in Monticello.  Any geneaological /  historical information or sources would be very much appreciated.
