I am researching Anthony, Bernardous, and Thomas -- brothers who were three of the seven original purchasers of the Peenpack Patent.  I would like to know how the 1,200 acres of the Patent was divided among the 7 original purchasers... what amount of land (and where) the three Swartwout brothers received... and then, how their acreages
were either sold or passed down in the family.

Please contact me if you have info or can tell me where to find it, or if you are a Swartwout-Swartwood researcher. My husband descends from Anthony's son Bernardus.

Helen you need to get a hold of Swartwout Chronicles which does have a map of the divisions of the Peenpack Patent; whereas it is called the Mackheckemeck Patent in same book.  the divisios were not clear until the Patent was dissolved abt 100 years later.
